Party Booking Terms and Conditions
Pricing
- All prices include GST
Entertainment Booking Conditions
- Payments can be made via our website or via bank transfer.
- Your booking is only confirmed once your payment has been received. To avoid any disappointment we suggest submitting an online booking form as soon as possible. Enquiries alone cannot be taken as confirmation.
- Payment is considered as acceptance by you of the terms and conditions contained herein.
Entertainment rescheduling, canceling and postponing
- If your party is outdoors, you need to have a wet weather backup option should the weather turn miserable.
- No refunds are provided for change of mind, error in booking or circumstances out of our control such as event cancellation.
- If you cancel your booking less than seven days prior to your event you will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- If you cancel your booking before the seven-day period, you will incur a 50% cancellation fee, with the other 50% able to be converted to a gift voucher for a future event.
- ‘Cancellations’ and ‘Re-Scheduling’ are deemed to be the same under our terms and conditions. Re-Scheduling within a seven-day period will also incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Signature party surcharges, rescheduling, cancelling and postponing
- Please note that venues and homes with difficult access, lots of stairs will incur a surcharge of $100. If someone from the party can assist there will be no surcharge.
- Items such as lolly bags, cakes, catering, activity add ons are ordered specifically for your event from suppliers. Once ordered and paid for, credits are not always able to be provided however we will work with suppliers to ensure credits can be provided where possible. For example, if the cake or lolly bags have made - the cake / lolly bag credit would not be possible.
- As the deluxe party items and staffing were booked and set aside for your exclusive use on the requested date, there are limits on credit options. If you postpone/cancel your signature booking (for whatever reason) you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows:
- More than fourteen (14) days prior to the booking = 30% of the Full Price (remaining balance will be put in credit for 12 months)
- Less than 14 days but more than 72 hours prior to the booking = 50% of the Price (remaining balance will be put in credit for 12 months)
- Less 72 hours prior to the booking = 100% of the Price.
- The remaining balance will be available to use in credit for 12 months from date of booking.
Travel
- Travel fees apply to certain areas and you will be advised of this during the booking process. This covers travel expenses such as petrol, tolls and travel time for our entertainers/staff.
- Parking fees may apply to certain bookings where no free parking is available. We ask that you please notify us during the booking process if you know of any additional parking costs that may be incurred prior to your event. Birthday Fairy will add this to your invoice. If our entertainers need to pay for parking that wasn’t advised, Birthday Fairy will invoice the client for the additional parking fee plus an administration cost.
Insurance
- All entertainers are covered by our Indemnity Insurance. All entertainers hold the necessary Working with Children checks.
Liability

Birthday Fairy will not be held responsible for the behaviour of any child or other person attending your event.

You agree that either yourself or another nominated adult will remain present for the duration of the event, and will be responsible for the supervision of the event.

You agree that Birthday Fairy will not in any way be liable to you or to any other person for any damage, loss or injury suffered by yourself or any other persons while participating in the event.

You agree to notify Birthday Fairy of any special requirements of any child or event guests, including but not limited to allergies or other mental, emotional or physical issues, which may affect the entertainment/party services we choose to provide.
