Party Booking Terms and Conditions

Party numbers

  • All prices include GST and are a flat rate for a maximum of 18 children (inclusive of one birthday child).

  • Additional children over 15 children require a 2nd party host. This ensures the party continues to run smoothly and ensures all children are included in activities such as games and facepainting.

Entertainment Booking Conditions

  • Spaces are not reserved until the deposit has been paid.

  • Visa/Mastercard/AMEX or EFT are all accepted.

  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before the party via EFT to confirm your booking.

  • To avoid any disappointment we suggest submitting an online booking form as soon as possible. Enquiries alone cannot be taken as confirmation.

Rescheduling 

  • We advise you consider a wet weather option as a backup on the day should the weather turn miserable.

  • If you cancel/postpone 14+ days before your event you will receive a FULL credit on file to put towards your next booking (valid for 12 months).

  • If you cancel/postpone with less than 14 days notice before your event, the deposit is non-refundable, however we can provide you with a portioned credit for the remaining balance to put towards your next booking. The deposit is kept to reimburse our expenses and the entertainer who will miss out on their scheduled work. 

Travel & Insurance

  • Parties outside our travel radius will incur a small travel fee.

  • All entertainers are covered by Indemnity Insurance.

  • All entertainers hold the necessary Working with Children and Police checks.

Instagram Mini Picnic Competition 

  • Prize includes a beautiful setup in whichever theme you like - you can see them all on our website. Valid for use by end of October 10th 2021. We can do mid week or weekend - whatever works around you!
  • Items you can add on (but do not have to):
    - catering
    - entertainment
    - lolly bags
    - activity packs etc
  • We need to comply with current Govt Health Orders so a max of 5 vaccinated adults and the cap on children is unlimited. 
  • The winner will be drawn at random on Friday 24th of September 2021. 

COVID-19

Our number one concern is that our families are able to enjoy special celebrations and health/safety is a critical factor for this. We are operating under the following procedures:

  1. We constantly check the health status of our entertainers to ensure they will not host a party if they have any COVID-19 symptom.

  2. We have rostered extra staff on for each weekend to ensure any illnesses do not impact our parties.

  3. We are flexible with rescheduling if you need to move your event.

  4. Face painting can be replaced with glitter gems and alternative activities.

What we recommend for parties during this time:

  1. Limit the party guests to close friends and family. Our entertainers adapt their program to small groups, and it is just as fun!

  2. Choose parties outdoors or at home, rather than play centres or venues.

  3. Book with a company you trust. Our games and activities are adjusted so that they don’t involve too much touching/sharing during this time.

  4. Have hand sanitiser available and a separately named drink for each child. Our hosts will also encourage the children to wash their hands before eating/drinking.

COVID-19 and rescheduling:

  • The party deposit and payments are non-refundable in usual circumstances. They cover pre-exisitng costs for your booking - our overheads, advertising, my admin staff’s time to book it in, prepare invites etc. However, we do understand that COVID-19 has caused a very complex situation. As a good will gesture, we are enabling any payments to be used as a credit in the next 12 months.  It is valid for 12 months to give you flexibility to move the party to a later date or do something next year! It can be a different (or the same) character/theme etc.  Entertainment/party bookings deposits cannot be used for activity packs. 

Activity Kit Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers and activity kits cannot be returned. 
Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at simone@birthdayfairy.com.au and send your item via registered mail to: PO Box 225 CREMORNE, NSW 2090

Delivery cost

We offer $9.95 flat rate shipping to Australia. Free local delivery is available within 15kms of Collaroy, NSW 2097.  

Processing time

All orders are processed within 1 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
